Matth. 25,40: Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
With this painting I want to show an alternative to the common sense of "compassion": the need for help is symbolized with the broken wing at the bootom - but as a symbol of hope: a broken "phenix" with the colours of fire and the ability to revive reradiating. This metaphor wants to lead away from the discracefull meaning of a "victim". Above this the helper: not a careworn "compassioneer", but a strong figure with many abilities and possibilities, symbolized by the spectrum of colours in his circle of agitations. The triangles sysmbolize the intensions. The main motif was developed allready some years ago for the series "We are the Angels" with the title: "doing my best for you".
